Aquilasax Eclipse - C Soprano Saxophone
- The C soprano saxophone is a member of the saxophone family, invented in 1846. It closely resembles the more common B♭ soprano saxophone but is pitched a whole step higher. Unlike a B♭ soprano, a C soprano does not have to transpose music to be in key with an orchestra, a quality it shares with the C melody (also called C tenor) saxophone. The C soprano has a very similar range to the oboe.
- The Aquilasax C Soprano Saxophone is a rare and unique instrument that is pitched in C, unlike the more common Bb soprano saxophone. It is designed to be compatible with concert music and has a distinctive tone.
- Features a black lacquered body with gold-tone keys and decorative abalone-style Keys.
