Up for sale is my Eastman E20D-MR-TC, a limited edition acoustic guitar with Adirondack spruce top and rare Madagascar rosewood back and sides in excellent+ condition. This guitar has all-solid-wood construction with an Adirondack spruce top that is Thermo-cured cutting down the usual break in time and Madagascar rosewood back and sides. Adi spruce yields a clean, well-defined, warm tone that holds up to heavy strumming without breaking up. Madagascar rosewood is often compared with Brazilian rosewood because of its expressive highs; booming, deep lows; and complex overtones. Together this tone wood combination offers strong balance between the depth of the rosewood and clear articulate highs of Adirondack spruce. The E20D-MR also features hand-carved, scalloped "X" bracing, adding extra resonance, volume, and sustain as well as high quality Gotoh tuners. This is a bone fide banjo killer that cuts through the mix at jams and manages the subtlety of fingerstyle playing with finesse. As such the E20D-MR is one of the real bargains in an often overpriced dreadnaught world.

This guitar model does not come up for sale used very often because it is a keeper. I am selling only because I came into possession of a Goodall guitar and this Eastman guitar is not getting the playing it deserves. Now that Eastman has used its supply of Madagascar rosewood, they have stopped production of new models, leaving the inventory.  Madagascar rosewood is most often found in high end guitars costing multiple times the cost of the Eastman.
