For sale this very rare Neumann original 19" dual 1/1 format Danner rack for "full format" Danner modules. This rack has a high quality 24v psu inside for powering Danner modules that take 24v. This rack can fit modules like Neumann W495, W492, U473a etc etc. Since Danner format is a German industry standard developed for broadcast it can fit any makers 1/1 Danner modules. The I/O of this rack consists of 2 x 2 male and female 5 pin Canon connectors and a Siemens multipin connector. Inside are 2 Tuchel 2701 female counter connectors. This rack is specifically wired for the modules it used to house (unknown to me) so if you want to use it with a module of your choice you need to rewire the connections. Since 19" Danner racks from OEM manufacturers are a rare commodity original Neumann racks are a great find. This sale present a good opportunity to acquire this Danner rack for a fair price. Please note that this rack only works with 220v, you need a step-down converter for use in 110v areas. I have measured the psu for correct voltage and puts out steady 24v. There are no other Neumann logo's on this rack except on the front but I have owned comparable later racks in the past with Neumann markings on the psu pcb etc and they where a identical (model S468-2N), I believe my rack is a early model.
