Wonderful 20" Paiste 2002 Crash from the sought-after Black Label era. This cymbal carries the classic CuSn8 bronze tone that defined the sound of legendary drummers like John Bonham.
Condition & Details:
- Serial Number: 849438 – Confirms its vintage heritage to 1988
- Visuals: No cracks or keyholing, but plenty of stick hits and handling marks. The cymbal has developed a natural patina over the decades. Loved and played by one owner. He was a local musician here in Dallas
- Sound: Extremely responsive and opens up instantly with a dark, low-pitched explosion that is characteristic of larger vintage crashes. It’s powerful enough for heavy rock but versatile enough for a variety of genres. Preferred by John Bonham, Cozy Powell, Ian Paice, Tommy Aldridge, Carl Palmer, Nick Mason etc
