NOS RCA 6L6 metal power tube tested on a Mercury 1000 Mutual Conductance tube tester. A metal tube is the same as a glass tube, they were simply manufactured before the glass envelope tech was perfected. Glass was cheaper so that's why they developed glass. I use metal tubes frequently and they sound just a good as a glass tube. Good way to get USA made RCA quality at a discount.
