Produced under the Artisan Strings line, a division of the Gemeinhardt Company, the Marcato series was designed to provide developing students with a reliable and responsive instrument for lessons, school orchestra, and daily practice.

This outfit includes the 3/4-size violin, a wood bow, and a hard-shell case with a plush black interior. The smaller 3/4 size is ideal for younger students who are not yet ready for a full-size instrument.

The violin features a traditional reddish-brown finish, ebony-style fittings, and an Aubert bridge, a respected French bridge maker often found on higher-quality student instruments.
