Purple Widow – Because Apparently Black Customs Were Too Subtle

The 2016 Gibson Custom Shop Purple Widow is what happens when a Les Paul Custom decides that ordinary black tuxedos are for amateurs. Gibson took one of their most iconic designs, wrapped it in a stunning Purple Widow nitro gloss finish over a flamed maple top, added matching purple binding, a purple Gibson logo, a purple split-diamond headstock inlay, gold hardware, and then casually released one of the coolest Les Paul Customs they've ever built.

This thing doesn't enter a room... it makes an entrance.

Underneath all the visual drama is still a serious Custom Shop Les Paul. The mahogany body and neck deliver the thick, authoritative Les Paul tone we all know and love, while the ebony fretboard adds snap and articulation. The 490R and 498T humbuckers serve up everything from warm blues and classic rock to enough gain-fueled aggression to make your amp question its life choices. We also just installed a fresh new set of 10-46 strings, so she's cleaned up, dialed in, and ready to rock the moment she arrives.

In short, this guitar is basically a black-tie gala, a VIP pass, and a backstage laminate all rolled into one very purple Les Paul.

Condition

She was born on September 22nd, 2016 and remains in very good condition. the guitar has been played just enough to prove that it is, in fact, a guitar and not a museum exhibit. There is a small area on the top that looks like the clear coat dripped and dried (I don’t know how else to describe it), but you’ll need direct reflective light to find this as well as a finish flaw on the back by the neck heel. The gold hardware shows some typical wear as well… The guitar presents with a very clean  appearance despite these minor flaws. The frets remain in excellent shape, the neck feels fantastic, and everything functions exactly as it should.

Return Policy- 

We do accept returns up to 14 days from the point of the initial sale, which means that the guitar must be back in our possession within this 14 day period. However, please be aware of the following conditions: If for any reason you wish to return the guitar, just call or email me directly, within 24 hours of your receiving the item, and let me know that you want to return it. Once we receive the guitar back, in the same condition, you will receive a refund, less a $50 restock fee. Also be aware that the initial shipping fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
