1960 Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman 6122 – Original Case, Strap & O.K. Card – Serial #36957

Offered for sale is a beautiful and largely original 1960 Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Model 6122, serial number 36957. This early example features the desirable painted (simulated) f-holes and classic walnut finish that made the Country Gentleman one of Gretsch’s most iconic models.

The guitar retains its original Filter’Tron pickups, Grover Imperial tuners, Bigsby vibrato, and original finish. Included are the original Gretsch hardshell case, the original Gretsch leather strap, and the original blue Gretsch Quality Control O.K. card—a rare and desirable piece of case candy seldom found with these guitars today.

The flame maple neck has aged beautifully, and the guitar presents extremely well.
