The Neumann U87 Rhodium was a limited edition made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic U87 microphone. They were released in 2017 and only 500 were made worldwide.
This set has a rhodium coated U87Ai, which is very reflective. This lavish set also has the EA 87 shock mount, also rhodium coated, and the original aluminum case with the matching serial number.
The microphone is in exceptional shape. Circuit and capsule are perfect and all original. The head of the microphone is still sealed. The Neumann wax seal over the screw indicates that all components of the capsule assembly are still originally intact and were never opened. Everything works well and the mic sounds great.
The body is in near mint condition. The grill doesn’t have any dents or any kinds of damage.
