Artisan Strings Bravura Model 300 4/4 Violin (2006) – with Bow & MTS Hard Case

Up for sale is an Artisan Strings Bravura Model 300 full-size (4/4) violin outfit, serial number 4212, dated 2006. The Bravura series was part of the Artisan Strings line produced under the Gemeinhardt Company and is regarded as a quality student-to-intermediate level instrument.

This violin comes complete with its wood bow and a hard-shell MTS fiberglass-style case with plush black interior. The instrument has been professionally maintained and features an upgraded Aubert bridge made in France, a desirable upgrade over many factory-fitted student bridges.

The violin presents very well overall and is fully assembled with bridge, tailpiece, and strings installed. The attractive amber-brown varnish highlights the spruce top's grain nicely.

Condition

This violin is in good used condition with normal cosmetic wear from use and age.

Notable condition details include:

• Several light scratches and finish marks on the top plate
• Small finish wear/chip on the lower treble-side bout (pictured)
• Minor edge wear and handling marks throughout
• Fingerboard, pegs, bridge, and tailpiece appear in good functional condition
• Bow included and housed in the case
• Hard case shows cosmetic wear from storage and transport but remains functional
