Up for sale is an Artisan Strings Model 100 12" Viola Outfit, manufactured in 2007 and carrying serial number 7081. This compact-size viola is an excellent choice for younger students, beginning violists, or players needing a smaller instrument.
The viola features an attractive amber-brown finish with nicely figured maple visible on the back and sides. It is equipped with four integrated fine tuners for easy tuning adjustments and includes a quality Despiau France bridge, a respected bridge maker commonly found on upgraded student instruments.
Included with the instrument are a matching bow and a hard-shell case with black plush interior. The case remains functional and protective, showing typical cosmetic wear from use.
Fingerboard position tapes are currently installed, making the instrument especially suitable for students learning proper hand placement and intonation.
