Lucked into this player-grade 1968 "Drip Edge" Deluxe Reverb in a trade. Unfortunately I no longer have room for it. The amp was last serviced in Nov 2025, and it functions perfectly. It sounds as sweet as any vintage Deluxe Reverb, this one’s just a grand cheaper and gig ready.
Internals:
- Power transformer, reverb driver, chassis all date to 1968
- Choke dates to 1966
- Replacement Heyboer output transformer
- Original AB763 circuit
- Chassis painted for protection against rust and corrosion
- Grounded three-prong power cable so you don't get zapped
- WGS Invader 50 speaker
Cosmetics:
- Original cab, grill, logo badge
- Replaced plywood speaker baffle
- Re-tolexed with corner guards added
- Replacement faceplate from the modern silverface reissue series (hence the channels being labeled "Custom" and "Vintage" instead of "Normal" and "Vibrato")
Comes with new Fender reverb/vibrato footswitch.
