1954–1955 "The Martin" Committee III alto saxophone, made in Elkhart, Indiana.

This horn was recently professionally overhauled by Carolina Wind & Brass Repair and is playing great from top to bottom. The overhaul included a full disassembly, cleaning, new pads, regulation, and adjustment.

The Committee III is known for its big, warm sound with plenty of character; one of the classic American altos favored by jazz players and collectors alike.

As you'd expect from a 70-year-old instrument, it shows cosmetic wear consistent with age, including lacquer wear and surface scratches. Please check the photos closely for details on condition.

Serial number: 193109
