this is possibly the rarest Guitar for sale on the Internet. This was built by Louis Sutz. He was in Cincinnati, Ohio between 1890 and somewhere in the 1930s. This Guitar was probably a commission build around 1910. There’s a lot of information online about his builds that you can look up. Stunning solid Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, solid spruce top, original bracing, original tuning gears. The tail pieces that are pictured I believe might be original. I’m really not sure which came first. I am including the tail pieces. I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere for sale ever. As a piece of art or a wall hanger it would be stunning, but the fact that this thing plays and sounds so good. It still plays amazing and is so well constructed. It’s been in my family since the mid 80’s, my dad purchased it in Portsmouth Ohio at a yard sale. I hope you enjoy the pictures and this piece of history. both necks are identical. Right now I have the bottom neck, with nylon string, and the top neck is strung with traditional acoustic light gauge strings. these are the original frets and the original Ebony fingerboards.
