Brand new, received from Mr. Black last week. It arrived with some marks that I thought were smudges, and some very light scratches on the back plate. I tired to clean the spots off for pictures and they smeared. So I stopped. The scratches do not show up in the picture. The pedal sounds great, and I'm not going to give it away due to some minor cosmetic blemishes.
