Up for sale is a nice 1993 Gibson Chet Atkins CE .
The Gibson Chet Atkins CE is a highly sought-after nylon-string electric guitar that remains extremely popular even after its discontinuation. It is a renowned model used by many professional musicians. Highly resistant to feedback, it delivers a refined nylon-string sound that is ideal for stage performance.
This particular instrument was made in 1993 and features the sleek headstock shape with the Gibson logo. Controls consist of one volume and one tone knob.
A key feature is its slim approximately 46mm nut width, allowing electric guitar players to transition smoothly to a nylon-string instrument.
The top is made of attractive spruce, while the back and neck are crafted from high-quality mahogany. The fingerboard and bridge are rosewood.
The sound is pure, clear, and beautifully expressive, with the warm tonal qualities characteristic of nylon strings.
Considering that this instrument is over 30 years old, it has been kept in very good condition. There are signs of normal use and minor cosmetic wear, but no serious damage. The frets still have plenty of life remaining.
The guitar includes the original Gibson brown hard case shown in the photos.
