It has the fingering options of recorder, clarinet, saxophone, flute, and oboe; depending on which wind instrument you are more familiar with playing. There's also the feature that allows you to change the key of the instrument to anything: Bb, C, Eb, F, etc., similar to that of the transpose function on an electric keyboard.

The rollers on its backside ranges across 8 octaves! This instrument has the ability to express vibrato when the embouchure is used to apply pressure unto the mouthpiece. There are built-in sounds to choose from, as well as the ability to download patches to incorporate your own desired sounds and samples; unlike the EWI 5000 model. Of the wind synth models available, this is Akai's most popular one! You're able to power it with 4 AA-batteries, or an AC adapter (not included).

It's lightly used so there is hardly any wear besides slight discoloration on the right thumb's touch sensor. There are minor scuffs from use but those don't affect its functionality. Shipped in its original box.
