The Rickenbacker Model 4003 is one of the most recognizable basses ever built, known for its ringing sustain, treble punch, and solid low-end response. Finished here in Fireglo, this 4003 brings the classic Rickenbacker look together with the sound and feel that have made the model a staple across rock, progressive, indie, and studio bass work.

The solid maple body and neck-through construction give the 4003 its signature sustain and focused attack, while the maple and walnut neck adds strength and stability. A rosewood fingerboard with deluxe triangular inlays keeps the look unmistakably Rickenbacker, with neck binding adding to the more dressed-up feel of the standard 4003 model.

The 33 1/4" scale length, 10" fingerboard radius, and 1 11/16" nut width give the bass a familiar but distinct feel, with plenty of control across the neck. It has the snap, clarity, and upper-mid presence that Rickenbacker basses are famous for, while still carrying enough low-end weight to hold down a mix.
