The PRS SE Studio brings together the warmth and power of a traditional humbucker with the clarity and articulation of PRS Narrowfield pickups, creating one of the most versatile instruments in the PRS SE lineup. Finished in stunning Orange Tiger Smokeburst, the SE Studio offers an inspiring combination of eye-catching aesthetics, premium craftsmanship, and exceptional tonal flexibility.
At the heart of the SE Studio is a trio of pickups consisting of a PRS 58/15 LT “S” humbucker in the bridge position and PRS Narrowfield DD “S” pickups in the neck and middle positions. Controlled by a 5-way blade switch and push/pull tone control, the SE Studio delivers everything from sparkling single-coil-inspired tones to rich, vintage-flavored humbucker sounds, making it equally at home on stage, in the studio, or wherever inspiration strikes.
The comfortable Wide Thin maple neck and 25” scale length provide the familiar feel that PRS players have come to love, while the figured maple veneer over a mahogany body delivers classic looks and balanced tonal response. The PRS patented tremolo and premium hardware complete a package designed for years of reliable performance.
