1960s Gretsch Progressive Jazz Outfit Blue Sparkle 20/12/14 w/ Matching 14x4 Snare

Offered for sale is a beautiful early-1960s Gretsch Progressive Jazz outfit in original Blue Sparkle finish.

This classic Gretsch configuration includes a 20” bass drum, 12” mounted tom, 14” floor tom, and matching 14x4 snare drum. The set retains its original Blue Sparkle wrap, Silver Sealer interiors, round badges, paper tags in the bass drum and toms, rail consolette mount, and internal tone controls.

The finish has retained excellent color and sparkle and the kit presents exceptionally well throughout.

Condition

Very clean vintage condition throughout. The wrap retains strong color and sparkle, chrome presents well, and the interiors remain clean with original Silver Sealer finish intact.

The snare drum retains its original badge but no longer has its paper tag. One floor tom leg is missing its rubber foot, an inexpensive and easily replaceable item. Otherwise, the kit presents exceptionally well and has been carefully preserved.

An outstanding example of a vintage Gretsch Progressive Jazz outfit and equally at home in a collection, recording studio, or on stage.
