Yamaha MT50 Multitrack Cassette Recorder {Serviced w/Half Speed Mod}

This Yamaha MT50 has been fully serviced, cleaned, and calibrated, and is ready for immediate use. All core functions, including recording and playback on all four tracks, operate properly and the unit sounds great. Track-to-track response and noise characteristics may still vary slightly, as is typical for analog cassette multitrack recorders. There is a video attached to the listing where recording and playback on all 4 tracks as well as the half speed mod is demonstrated.

The unit has an added half speed mod. This goes from high speed (3.75 ips) to normal speed (1.875 ips). The units speed is around ~5% fast, you can just adjust the pitch controls slightly down to make it perfect.

Aux send & return is untested.

Even after fixing the tape counter it sometimes needs a little help.

Headphone knob is a little scratchy.

The unit is missing its cassette door.

The unit is also missing overlay stickers for the meters. Doesn't impede on functionality in any way.

Besides what is mentioned the unit is in great condition.
