A stunning early example from Buescher’s Elkhart, Indiana factory, dating to approximately 1908–1909. The bell carries Buescher’s iconic engraved cartouche with the PAT. OCT. 29, 07 patent date surrounded by elaborate hand-engraved floral scrollwork — a hallmark of their finest period craftsmanship.
Condition:
• Silver plate shows honest age patina — beautiful century-old character
• Minor dings and dents consistent with age
• Bell professionally resoldered to valve section at some point
• Leadpipe received a prior repair — plays without issue
• All three valves move freely
• Slides free and moving
• Original mother-of-pearl valve tops present and intact
