For sale is a very nice vintage Ovation UKII Solid Body electric guitar. It appears to be all original with the exception of the volume and tone knobs. The guitar is in very good condition with minor nicks and dings and some minor buckle rash on the back. Take a good look at the pictures. This guitar sounds and plays excellent. It is a used, Vintage, approaching 50 year old guitar and as such is being sold As Is. Check out the pictures and ask questions. If you need any specific pictures let me know. It comes in a gig bag. The Ovation UKII, also known as the Ultra Kaman II (Model 1291), is a unique solid-body electric guitar produced by Ovation Guitars in the United States between about 1979 and 1983. The serial # is E 13796. The UKII’s most distinctive feature was its hollow-body aluminum frame encased in a Urelite (dense urethane foam) mold, giving it a lightweight feel while producing a distinctive, resonant sound. The neck was bolted to the body and then secured to the frame, enhancing sustain. It featured:

• Bolt-on mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard

• Gold hardware

• Abalone or mother-of-pearl inlays on the ebony fretboard

• Twin-blade humbuckers with series/parallel switches for in-phase or out-of-phase tones

• Custom-wound pickups (each coil wound 10,000 times) with both mono and stereo outputs
