Killer guitar that's been a really fun project to bring to life. The neck feels incredible! All the finish has been played off the back and it is super smooth. Lots of wear on the front too which looks great. It's had a refret with Jescar SS frets which brought the guitar to life. They are perfectly levelled and are a joy to play. They look bigger in the pictures than they actually are - I'll dig out the link to the size when I get a chance.

The body was refinished in the early 2000s and has already accumulated plenty of character. I've taken plenty of close ups showing the scratches and dings but as you can see they're not that noticeable from a short distance.

It currently has the Lollar sixty four (blackface) set of pickups and premium aged pickguard/pickup covers/knobs etc. In addition I used my favourite Callaham Trem which has the slightly narrower string spacing and keeps the E strings at a perfect distance to the edge of the fretboard.

Weighs around 4.35kg which is on the heavy side for a strat, I've gigged it a bunch of times though and it still just feels like a strat. Because it's sleek and well balanced it feels a lot lighter than my Les Paul on stage, even though it isn't. Weird!

All in all a cracking players grade vintage strat with all the right mods to improve the guitar, but massively reduce the price. Not fussed about selling this one quickly, just thought I'd entertain trade offers and see if there were any interested buyers. Particularly interested in Jazzmasters at the moment, can add cash for the right guitar. As you can see I also love a project!

It is setup to perfection and all work carried out is to the highest standard from my tech. Action is currently at 1.5mm low E and 1.25mm high E, neck almost dead straight with just a touch of relief.
