Trainer TS-15 MK2 is Traynor TS-15 (solid-state amp) preamp section in a pedal format. I've used an exact schematic of the original amp with a very cool distortion texture. The preamp runs at +-15V using a standard 9V power supply. The higher voltage provides more dynamics and headroom (approximately 30V amplitude, for example, Klon has approximately 27V). The preamp could be used before another amp or directly into the power amp section (for example, FX loop return input).
