Paiste Formula 602 Seven Sound Set 7 20" Deep Ride from 1975 2353g (Who is E.C.??)

Up for sale from my private collection is the Paiste Formula 602 Seven Sound Set 7. This is the 20" Ride model called by some the "Deep Ride.'

The Seven Sound Set was a special project within the Formula 602 line that was launched in 1967 and was discontinued in 1978.

This 20" Deep Ride #7 was made in Switzerland 1975. It is a model rarely, if ever, seen to surface these days.

There is some text written in black ink under the bell including ( E.C. ). I have a strong suspicion that is the initials of the (original?) drummer who owned this before it entered into my collection. I am sorry that my memory does not give up his name. If you know this history, by all means you are welcome to share and I will update for the benefit of the cymbals collecting community here. Thanks in advance.

There are representative old sound samples on YouTube if you care to explore. The ride stick pattern is prominent and well-behaved. Mature and laid back. Focused, that is, not awash is overtones. Deeper in pitch than similar sized 20" Formula 602 rides. The bell is excellent. The crash sound is that of a heavy crash.

Weighs 2353 g on my scale.

Overall condition is Excellent.

Unfortunately the edge has one ding/dent near the 12 'o clock position. There is NO fracture or crack. I took a bunch of photos documenting what this looks like as best I can. Otherwise, the rest of the edge is smooth.

Center hole is perfect.

There are fingerprints, light oxidation marks here and there.

I took photos under several different lighting conditions and from different angles. What you see in the photos reflects reality.
