A beautifully preserved and highly original early-1960s Gibson ES-330TD in Cherry Red finish.
This guitar retains its original P-90 pickups with black metal covers, original Kluson Deluxe double-line tuners, original CTS/Centralab-era potentiometers, original braided wiring, and original electronics. Potentiometer part numbers remain visible and are consistent with period-correct Gibson electronics. Date codes are partially obscured by the original solder joints. The instrument features the desirable 16th-fret neck joint construction and appears to be exceptionally original throughout.
Serial number: 801808.
Nut width: 1 11/16" (42.86 mm).
The guitar is fully functional and in excellent condition for its age. It shows only light signs of honest use, including minor surface scratches and natural age-related finish wear consistent with a well-cared-for vintage instrument. There are no known structural repairs, breaks, or modifications.
The Cherry Red finish remains vibrant and presents beautifully. Original solder joints appear untouched, and the electronics function as intended.
Detailed photographs of the pickups, wiring, CTS/Centralab potentiometers, hardware, serial number, and construction features are included as part of the description. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the item's condition description.
Includes a non-original hard shell case.
An exceptionally clean, highly original, and highly collectible example of a vintage Gibson ES-330TD featuring the sought-after full-width 1 11/16" nut, black metal P-90 covers, and early-spec construction.
