Maybe the closest thing to Custom Shop without spending that kinda dough. I purchased this brand new in February of 2025. The only changes i’ve made is adding a Lindy Fralin strat baseplate to the bridge pickup. The baseplate is a simple removable mod that makes the stock bridge pickup a little more focused in the low mids, giving it somewhat of a telecaster flavour. I love it. The pickups in this guitar are excellent! The middle pickup in particular has something amazing going on and really makes the blended 2 & 4 positions pop. This one has a nice flamey quartersawn maple neck.

There’s very little wear save for a couple small marks I’ve tried to photograph as best as possible. The bottom horn has a little bit of a textured black wear thing that is definitely from going in and out of the case. There’s a small ding near the back end strap pin. Barely any fret wear. Can send pictures of the frets to show. Some light surface marks from pick wear, but most of it is near the trem cavity on the back from belt buckle wear. It’s not extreme, very minor surface level but it is there. VERY Small ding near a pickguard screw.

Some of my favourite features are the 12” fretboard radius which can make a low action setup work remarkably well. Quartersawn maple neck is very stable and rarely needs truss rod adjustments. The staggered tuners and headstock angle make a string tree unnecessary which adds to tuning stability and looks great. The fret size is marketed as medium jumbo but they aren’t super wide or super tall; a very balanced size that works great for bends or slides.

Only selling as I recently put another strat together from parts recently and don’t have room for both. Comes with original case, COA, cable, strap, ashtray trem cover. Missing the aged white pickup selector plastic… currently has a white one but I can probably find another aged white one if I dig around my apartment.

Open to reasonable offers and will match the price of any other EJ strat selling in Canada in similar shape.
