Up for sale is an original early-1950s Fender Telecaster neck pickup believed to date to 1952. This pickup retains all of the construction features collectors, restorers, and vintage Fender enthusiasts look for in a genuine Blackguard-era example.

The pickup measures a strong 7.40k ohms and exhibits north-up magnetic polarity, both consistent with original early Fender Telecaster neck pickups. The original cloth push-back leads remain intact, the solder joints appear undisturbed, and there are no visible signs of a rewind or repair. The chrome-plated brass cover, black fiber flatwork, plain enamel coil wire, and overall construction are all consistent with authentic early-1950s Fender production.

A faint handwritten “52” marking is visible on the underside flatwork. While Fender did not utilize a standardized pickup dating system during this era, handwritten factory markings are occasionally found on original Blackguard components and this notation appears consistent with the pickup's age and originality.
