1995 Gibson Les Paul Special (Junior II) TV Yellow, w/OHSC

Offered here is a beautiful, all-original 1995 Gibson Les Paul Special (Junior II) in TV Yellow from Gibson’s highly regarded "Good-Wood Era," complete with its original brown Gibson-branded TKL hard case.

One of the prettiest TV yellows we've see through the door; perfectly "ambered" and lightly applied, showcasing a nice see-thru finish, that exposes the wood grain.

Constructed with a one-piece solid mahogany body, a bound slim '60s-profile mahogany neck, and a pair of P-100 pickups, this guitar embodies the qualities that have made Gibson's mid-1990s production so sought after. It delivers the unmistakable bite, warmth, and dynamic response associated with P-100 pickups, paired with a straightforward, no-frills design and the exceptional craftsmanship that many players consider a hallmark of this era.

This example has clearly been well loved and regularly played, as evidenced by the honest playwear found throughout. It remains free from breaks, repairs, or structural issues, functions exactly as it should, and presents very well overall.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows a number of surface marks, dings, and bumps consistent with age and use. The most significant is a sizeable indentation on the rear of the body below the output jack. There are also several areas on the back where the nitrocellulose finish appears to have reacted over time, likely from prolonged contact with a guitar strap or similar material—something commonly seen on nitro-finished instruments. Aside from these purely cosmetic imperfections, the guitar remains in notably well-kept condition.

The neck displays some light stand wear ("neck burn"), where the finish has reacted with a guitar stand's neck support and has since been smoothed over. The face of the headstock veneer also exhibits the fine finish checking and lacquer cracks commonly associated with 1990s Gibson instruments. Otherwise, both the neck and headstock are in excellent shape, and all 22 frets retain plenty of life for years of continued playing.

Included is the original brown Gibson TKL hard case with pink interior—displaying signs of light wear but is fully functional. 

It’s been expertly cleaned and setup by Ben of Beej Guitar Repairs with a fresh set of 10-46 strings.
