1992 USA G&L S-500, MFD pups, Sperzel Staggered Locking Tuner, Ships in Hard shell Case

This is a 1992 G&L S-500 in an amazing, and rather rare Turquoise Blue Green.

The guitar had been routed into a swimming pool style cavity for some reason, which essentially lightened the guitar a little bit to 9.1 lbs. Not bad, considering the solid ash body. The neck is a very smooth and dent free maple/maple board that shows some Darkening from play,is a soft C shape, and has a 12" radius. The width at the nut is 1-5/8ths. The frets are original medium jumbo, and in excellent shape. No divots or excessive wear, and the nut action is right at .018 under the strings at the first fret. The action at the 17th fret is 2/32nds on the high E graduating to just under 3/32nds at the Low E. I've set the DFV to Leo's specs at 2/32nds off the Body. The micro tilt is intact on this 3 bolt vintage G&L. The Pickups were reverted back to the original MFD's exclusively used on the S-500's in the early 90's. The Tuners are Staggered locking Sperzels .
