Here is a 2021 Matchless Laurel Canyon 20 Watt head. Includes a heavily-padded Tuki cover and power cable. This an incredible-sounding, straightforward amp with Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass and Master Volume controls. It has lots of clean headroom, but you can get a moderate amount of gain out of it as well. Think of the Volume control as the amount of gain you want to dial in, and the Master Volume control as the actual level. This amp can easily hang at band rehearsal, as well as most gigs, and the Master Volume allows you to play very quietly at home, too. Some amps can sound sterile and uninspiring unless you crank them loudly enough to really get the power tubes cooking, but this one sounds and feels fantastic at any volume.

Matchless amps are known for having a ton of clarity and cut, and this one is no exception. Single coils, P90s and humbuckers all work extremely well with it, and it makes for a great pedal platform. This amp is very well-rounded, making it a great choice in any context; gigging, rehearsal, recording, or playing at home. Nothing but great things to say here!

Condition: This amp is in exceptionally-clean condition, and everything functions as it should. I bought it from the original owner who solely played it at home on occasion, and I've done the same. We both own multiple amps which we've played in rotation, so this one hasn't gotten a lot of consistent play time. The original tubes should have plenty of life left in them. Cosmetically, as you can see from the photos, it shows no notable wear like heavy scuffs, nicks, dents, etc. It's been very well taken care of and is about as clean as they come on the used market!
