Ibanez RG470 - 1996 - Custom ChromaLusion Finish - Very Unique!

An Ibanez RG470 guitar with a custom ChromaLusion color-changing paint job. Very unique! This is from the Make in Korea line of this model that was manufactured between 1994-1999, and according to googling the serial number, this particular guitar looks to have been made in 1996 specifically.
I received this guitar from a friend around the year 2000 in exchange for a fish tank. I worked at an auto-body paint shop at the time, and my coworker offered to give the guitar a paint job for me in exchange for a pizza. I made the deal. We disassembled the guitar and painted the body with a ChromaLusion car paint which has this awesome color-changing feature depending on the angle you are viewing it from. I loved how it came out, put the guitar back together (minus reconnecting the electronics), and then proceeded to let the guitar sit in its case in my closet for the next 20 years.
In 2023 I finally dug this beauty out and had it fully rewired and setup by a local luthier. It's now in excellent working order and is a little shred machine. Alas, it's not really the guitar for me anymore. Due to it being in storage for so long it's in incredibly good shape for a 30 year old guitar, and the custom paint makes it truly one of a kind.
