Guild GAD-JF30 Jumbo – Excellent Condition – LR Baggs M1 Active Pickup

A beautiful example of the highly regarded early Guild GAD-JF30, from the first generation of GAD instruments, widely considered to be a step above many of the later production models.

These early guitars can be easily identified by their distinctive 1970s-inspired floral fingerboard inlays, a feature later replaced by simple dot markers. They also benefit from premium appointments including Grover tuners and a genuine bone nut.

The GAD-JF30 is a true all-solid jumbo, featuring a solid spruce top paired with solid flamed maple back and sides. The spectacular flame maple back is particularly striking and gives the instrument a level of visual appeal rarely found at this price point.

As expected from a quality jumbo, the guitar delivers a powerful, open voice with impressive projection, rich overtones, and excellent dynamic response, making it equally at home for strumming, flatpicking, or singer-songwriter accompaniment.
