This capsule has been part of my collection of vintage European condenser microphones and has been carefully stored and maintained during my ownership. The capsule is marked "MK4" and S/N 12023. It exhibits the construction and appearance associated with classic Schoeps capsules from this era.
The capsule is in good cosmetic condition for its age, with normal signs of careful use and handling. Threads and mounting surfaces are clean and in good condition.
The MK4 cardioid capsule has long been appreciated for its natural off-axis response, smooth midrange presentation, and detailed yet musical high-frequency reproduction.
