The Radial OX8 rear panel features extensive multi-pin and terminal connections designed for complex routing and permanent studio or stage installations. It offers flexible input, output, and signal distribution for up to 8 channels without needing external power. 

Rear Panel Connections & Features

• Inputs: Rear-panel access allows you to bypass the front XLRs using 25-pin D-sub connectors (wired to Tascam analog standards) or screw-down Phoenix/Euroblock terminals (ideal for permanent installs).
• Direct Outputs: Provides a straight-through signal path directly to the primary mixing console (or front-of-house) and allows 48V phantom power to pass back to the microphone. 
• Auxiliary Outputs: Features an additional direct output, usually paired with an engageable ground-lift switch to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops. 
• Transformer-Isolated Outputs: Fed through premium Jensen (in the OX8-j) or Radial Eclipse (in the OX8-r) transformers to deliver a completely isolated feed to a recording or monitor console. 
• Multiple Output Formats: All of the outputs (Direct, Aux, and Isolated) are duplicated on the rear panel using both DB-25 multi-pin connectors and Euroblock terminals.
