Ok, this is an amazing guitar. Built in 2005, it has mellowed into a beautiful sounding instrument. It is free from scratched and dents or dings. The only reason I didn't indicate mint condition is because some the the clear coating has been removed from the headstock. It is visible in one of the pictures. This is my second Taylor, and I have loved it as much as my first 614. And now the sad part: I have enjoyed playing it, but now due to advanced arthritis, i can no longer play my guitars. Every time I look at this guitar and others in my collection, I get sad. So I have decided to sell this Taylor. I have played for over sixty years, so all-in-all, a good run.
The specs are from Taylor and are listed below.
NOTE: It has two cases, the original case, and an SKB road case. You may choose either one, and I will; sell the other at a later date on Reverb.
This is definitely a guitar worth your consideration, I am confident you will be happy with it for many years to come.

2005 Model Specifications & Unique Features
Because this guitar was built in 2005, it features specifications distinct from newer iterations:
- Pre-V-Class Bracing: This guitar utilizes Taylor's classic Traditional Scalloped X-Bracing. It provides a broader, traditional acoustic warmth compared to modern V-Class models.
- Electronics (ES1): A 2005 model typically features the first-generation Taylor Expression System 1 (ES1) proprietary pickup system, utilizing dynamic body sensors and a magnetic neck pickup rather than modern under-saddle piezo systems.
- Nut Material: Built with a traditional white nut, standard for Taylor models of this era.
- Aesthetic Appointments: Features classic 800-series appointments of the era, which historically included progressive dot fretboard inlays, white or maple binding, and a gloss-finished headstock overlay.
