The Count to 5 is a uniquely creative delay, sampler, and micro-looper pedal from Montreal Assembly. Renowned for its experimental sound design capabilities, it can produce everything from pitch-shifted delays and glitchy sample manipulation to layered looping textures and ambient soundscapes.

This is an earlier 2015 version, updated with the latest firmware available for this hardware revision. The pedal features the three classic operating modes:

• Mode 1: Pitch-shifted delay with interval and timing control
• Mode 2: Randomized sample playback and sequencing effects
• Mode 3: Layered looping and overdubbing for evolving textures

The pedal has had repair work carried out during its lifetime and shows cosmetic wear, including a few paint chips and blemishes. These are purely cosmetic, and the pedal is fully functional and operates exactly as it should.
