While it kills me to sell this, I have too many guitars and this needs a home where it can be played and gigged with. Manufactured on Oct 17, 2013 in El Cajon, California only two days following my youngest son’s birthday, this guitar was my primary performing guitar for nearly 10 years until I made the transition back to electric guitar. I have two Taylor 810ce models and so this 814ce with ES1.3 electronics moved to the back of a long line for me which is a shame. It has recently been reviewed, cleaned, and adjusted by my expert luthier friend Jon Pistey. Frets are solid, fretboard cleaned, fresh shine, she looks and sounds great! Yes, there is some evidence of use, this is 13 years old after all. These tobacco burst models didn’t have pick guards so there’s some wear from 100s of gigs played and endless strumming. Also, 3 areas of “nicks” - two around the lower bout and one behind the 8th fret on the neck. None are significant, just signs of use. Many songs written on this and plenty more remain inside it!
