Rare! This was a limited run named “Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster - American Designer Edition” from the year 2000 in what was a distant precursor book-matched flamed maple top with striking horizontal grain. The finish is a Transparent Crimson Red, the transparency in the finish perfectly reveals the grain underneath, looks even better in person.
Neck: Modern “C” shape maple neck with “skunk stripe”, locking tuning machine in perfect working order, 22 fret maple fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, and black side dot markers. 11/16 nut with, 25.5 scale length. The frets have very little, if any playwear. Truss rod works perfectly. It comes with a Fender Molded case and tremolo bar.
Some Light surface scratching, you have to look closely. Should buff out easily. Beautiful looking, sounding and playable instrument.
