Selling this White 1982 Peavey T40 with an aluminum T40 neck from Electrical Guitar Company. If you're looking at this you probably already know the deal. This is one of the best sounding basses of all time. If you're specifically into the post-metal, doom, sludge thing, I would argue that this is the end-all be-all bass for those genres. Endless sustain (even in Drop B, how it's set-up now), massive low end, and incredible tuning stability. Both pickups work, selectors work, out of phase switch works, no volume/tone knob issues. There are a few dings and some slight cracks in the paint within the neck heels, but other than, it's in great shape. Recently set-up at Broadway Music in Los Angeles. Currently set up with the D'Addario 45-130 NYXL set in Drop B tuning. I am wanting to prioritizing local pick up, but I'll consider shipping if buyer pays shipping. Original T40 Case included. Happy to let you play it first if you're in the area.
