The OO is a compact guitar with a surprisingly big voice, perfect for fingerstyle players and intimate performances. This smaller-bodied instrument delivers exceptional clarity and articulation while maintaining the tonal richness that Santa Cruz guitars are known for.
The classic combo of solid Sitka spruce and solid mahogany work some magic here, giving this guitar warm, breathy tones that are perfectly well balanced. The use of hide glue and Adirondack bracing should be mentioned here too, giving it some x factor. The guitar is as light as a feather with understated vintage appointments like a slotted headstock and pyramid style bridge which make the modern Santa Cruz logo at the 12th fret really pop.
