We have received a 1978 ES-335.
Since its debut in 1958, the ES-335 has been beloved by countless guitarists as the quintessential semi-acoustic model.
This particular instrument, manufactured in 1978, features a 3-piece maple neck, a narrow-wider nut, an NTOM bridge, and pickups with engraved serial numbers.
The major parts are original; while the date cannot be confirmed on the pots due to soldering, we believe they are original.
Considering its age, it is in good condition, though there is a crack in the finish near the joint and a crack in the neck binding on the 6th string side near the 19th fret.
The nut and frets have been replaced, and the frets have over 70% of their original height remaining.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
The control knobs have been replaced, but the originals (with cracks) are included; the handle on the hard case has also been replaced.
