A used Suhr/JE Line Standard Plus MH Bahama Blue Burst with a Roasted Maple Neck has arrived in excellent condition!!

In addition to the classic Flame Maple (top) and Basswood (back and sides) combination championed by John Suhr, this model features a Roasted Maple neck, which offers high resistance to changes in temperature and humidity, as well as a distinctive tone. The lively resonance of the Roasted Maple is complemented by the characteristic smoothness and midrange of the Basswood, creating a perfect tonal balance.

The body features a Dinky shape with a Flame Maple top and Basswood back. This body combination is known as John Suhrfs top recommendation, characterized by its easy playability, smooth sustain, and just the right amount of drive.
The neck is made of Roasted Maple, and the fingerboard is also Roasted Maple. The stability provided by the roasting process is a major advantage in Japan, where seasonal changes are extreme.

The Even C Slim .800?.880 neck profile features a compound fingerboard radius of 10?14 and stainless steel heavy frets. The neck profile offers a moderate roundness and a neutral feel, making it easy to play regardless of your style. The high-precision stainless steel frets ensure a smooth playing experience. The "compound fingerboard," which is becoming a standard feature on modern guitars, provides the ideal radius for each position, allowing for lower string action without hindering string vibration.

The hardware includes a steel sustain block, a Gotoh 510 2-Point bridge with solid block saddles, and Suhr Locking tuners. The solid block saddles provide extended sustain and a clear, well-separated tone. This configuration offers smooth whammy bar action, stable tuning, and ease of use?including effortless string changes.

The pickups feature V60s in the front and middle positions, and an SSH+ in the rear. The single-coil positions are equipped with Suhrfs signature V60s. These were developed by disassembling and analyzing individual vintage pickups known for their exceptional sound. Using magnets identical to those of the original pickups and recreating the hand-winding patterns, they deliver a sound that retains the characteristic edge of the 1960s while offering a thick, resilient tone.
The bridge humbucker features the high-power "SSH+." It is characterized by high output combined with a well-defined sound and rich expressiveness. Even with high-gain distortion, it delivers a crisp, satisfying bite and excellent clarity.

The controls feature a simple layout: a 5-way lever switch for pickup selection, plus master volume and master tone. The push-push tone knob allows for coil tapping on the rear humbucker.

It also features the proprietary "SSCII" hum noise reduction system, which requires no batteries. The clear, noise-free sound is effective not only when plugged into an amp but also during line recording. It is highly recommended for home recording setups or when paired with high-quality guitar processing systems.
