For those who enjoy the history of guitar pedals... Dennis Cornell played an important role in the revival of the Fuzz Face and remains a significant figure in its history.
For years, Cornell produced Fuzz Face-style pedals in the traditional round enclosure associated with the original units. My understanding is that the First Fuzz was introduced after Dunlop successfully challenged Cornell's use of the classic circular enclosure design, forcing him to move away from the original Fuzz Face housing.
As a result, the First Fuzz represents an important chapter in the evolution of the Fuzz Face, combining Cornell's expertise and vintage-correct components with a design that emerged from this period of transition.
