The heart of this Custom Shop reissue is a limited stash of rare, original CA3080 "metal can" integrated circuits (ICs). These legendary components have been out of production for decades and are famous for providing significantly lower operational noise, greater organic transparency, and a richer dynamic range than modern surface-mount chips.

Unlike a fragile vintage original, this Custom Shop design provides old-school analog compression while incorporating an integrated bypass status LED and a standard top-mounted AC power jack for modern pedalboard convenience. It delivers that beautiful, musical, classic percussive "cluck" and infinite sustain that defined the golden era of recording.

Condition Details:

• Cosmetics: This pedal is in pristine, showroom-level condition. The beautiful high-gloss red powder coat and signature script typography are entirely free of chips, scuffs, scratches, or bench marks.
• Hardware: Both original knurled control knobs are tight and sweep cleanly. The heavy-duty footswitch engages seamlessly, and the status LED functions flawlessly.
• Chassis & I/O: The side-mounted input and output instrument jacks are crystal clean, solid, and completely free of oxidation or scratching. This unit displays recent factory UKCA and CE indicators on the chassis edge.
• Underside: The backplate is completely clean with all four original factory casing screws intact. It is entirely free of sticky velcro or adhesive foam residue.
