This is a damn fine '65 Jaguar with a gorgeous Burgundy Mist refin. I'm unsure when the refin was done, but it was clearly done by a pro at some point (in my opinion), complete with a matching headstock. It dual single coils (the neck looks to be original, but the bridge does not appear to be, no markings), pot dated to '65, a May of '65 B neck, a rosewood fretboard w/ dot inlays, Kluson Double Line tuners and the original L serialized neck plate, with "Al's Music Studio 1969" etched into it....so cool. It includes the trem arm pictured and a newer tweed case with latches that are a bit wonky. It weighs in a tad over 7.8lbs on my scale. Call me crazy...but for a wee bit more than a new Custom Shop Jaguar, you can get the real deal.

Condition wise, this guitar is in pretty good shape for its age with nothing to note, aside from a few small marks and swirls. It only shows very light wear, some minimal finish swirling, light checking and like scratches, most of which are difficult to picture. I seldom list above Good, let alone Very Good, but I feel this ones nearly deserving of very good but given it is vintage, I am going to remain cautious. Please review all photos diligently. The neck is straight and the truss rod turns fine.

  • Payment: I do not consider an order final until payment has fully cleared. Please complete payment promptly. Unpaid orders will be cancelled and relisted after 4 hours. I apologize if this feels strict, but repeated non-payment has made this necessary.
  • Photos: Review all photos thoroughly. I'm only able to upload 25, so zoom in and scrutinize every pixel if you've got concerns. If there's anything else you want to see, message me before purchasing or making an offer, happy to help!
  • Shipping: This guitar ships with Reverb Safe Shipping, which requires a signature upon delivery. I ship from humid, coastal Florida, so don't be surprised if it arrives with a hint of sea salt and Gulf Coast charm. I always recommend letting guitars acclimate before opening the case, just to be safe!
  • Condition & Setup: I did my absolute best to document this listing with care and honesty, likely using every photo Reverb allows. But let's be real: I'm not a shop. I'm Jake. You're buying a guitar, not a professional setup, so expect to give it your own tweaks. I'll detune it before shipping, so show it some love when it arrives.

Questions? Message me anytime, happy to help.

That's all folks. Thanks!
