housing pads and internals are all in really good shape. There's some light scuffing on the display. Internal speaker also functions.
The problem: these things require an internal coin battery that is mounted to the circuit board in order to maintain memory. This one's battery has died.
The solution: there are aftermarket kits for these that are very inexpensive, but I have time nor the skill to make that repair.
Until then, this is essentially a non-functioning unit. When I first purchased it, it had just enough battery left in it for me to play it for about one testing most of the features before the battery gave out.
So if you're feeling crafty, this could be an awesome drum machine. The tactile 16 step sequencer is a rare feature for this air of drum machine, making it way more usable when it actually does function.
