Selling an original 1966 Gibson Melody Maker in its factory Pelham blue finish. The third iteration of the Melody maker with the SG body shape. Two single coil pickups, each with own volume and tone controls, as well as a 3 way slider switch. This guitar has been played and shows wear, as well as having a lot of finish checking. All original parts are intact, and aesthetically the guitar presents well for being 60 years old. This guitar has had a new truss rod installed as well as a refret, so there is some lacquer wear to the edges of the fingerboard where it was removed, though you cannot feel it when playing. Plays well with low action and fresh frets with full life left. Electronics all in functioning condition. These are great values in the vintage Gibson world and finished in a cool custom color like Pelham Blue, you can’t go wrong. includes the original soft case which has held up well for being so fragile.
