Offered for sale is a vintage Gibson ES-175DN in factory Natural finish, serial number 541094, complete with its original hardshell case.

The ES-175 is one of Gibson's most iconic jazz guitars, played by countless professional musicians and regarded as one of the finest electric archtops ever produced. This example features the highly desirable factory Natural finish ("N" designation), a finish produced in significantly smaller numbers than the standard sunburst models.

The guitar features dual humbucking pickups, rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays, original trapeze tailpiece, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and classic Gibson construction from the Kalamazoo era.

The finish displays attractive vintage lacquer checking and natural aging consistent with its age. The guitar has been well cared for and retains the character and appearance that collectors and players look for in a vintage Gibson archtop.

Condition:

This is a vintage instrument showing normal cosmetic wear, finish checking, and age-related patina consistent with a late-1960s Gibson. No major structural issues noted. Please review photos carefully and I can send more if desired.

All electronics function as expected. The instrument plays well and delivers the warm, articulate tone that has made the ES-175 a favorite among jazz, blues, and traditional players for decades.

There is an area largely restricted to the bald finish around the jack from what I assume is an old and inelegant jack repair, and some markings from an old coily cable in the case on the back. Also, the case is in good working order but is as you would expect, worn.
